Who's behind this candied bacon madness?
You can call her the Bacon Vixen, Princess of Bacon or The Bacon Queen, she'll answer to any of those monikers. Tara Simon, graphic designer, turned Pilates instructor, now candied bacon confectionery artist is the brainchild behind The Sticky Pig Candied Bacon Confections. She metamorphosed her love of food into a successful candied bacon enterprise complete with her own original, one-of-a-kind candied bacon creations.
Tara is a self-taught gourmand, learning how to cook as a teen by watching public cooking shows and then recreating them in her parents' kitchen.
Using only the finest and freshest ingredients Tara began experimenting with different flavor and texture combinations with bacon as its medium. With her creative palette and knowledge of worldly food pairings, Tara created the culinary confections that make up The Sticky Pig's highly sought after array of delicious candied bacon sweets.
